The overall structure of the FaR Out and Dead Frog partnership has been designed like a triangle. The two halves of the bottom of the triangle will continue to function as our individual clubs have for many years. We will offer National, Regional, and Local levels that take place in the respective locations for each club, as well as opportunities for youth training for those as young as kindergarten.

The top section of the club is now our highlest level of National teams that will combine players from both clubs who want to compete at this level. The idea is that even the youngest players in each club will work their way through the levels and be able to pursue the best level of competition for their personal goals.
It is a great partnership between two of the longest-standing and most family-oriented clubs in Michigan. We want to provide ample opportunities for volleyball players in Michigan to compete at their desired level, have fun playing volleyball, and improve their skills.
A few things will set us apart from other options you have for club volleyball. The number one thing is that we will play the toughest competition possible. This is the best way to improve and prepare for the next level. The second thing we will provide you with is the best training possible. Our staff is second to none and will have now the added benefit of legendary volleyball coach Chuck Erbe. The third thing is college recruiting support. We will have a staff member dedicated to walking participants through the recruiting process and assisting them in every way possible. The last thing is that you will be a part of a great volleyball family. From parents to siblings we try to include everyone and make club volleyball your favorite experience of the year!
Practice Structure
- Non-competition weeks: Teams will practice together twice a week with one being in Grand Rapids and one in Kalamazoo. Then there will be two additional practices for individual training at the player's home location.
- Competition weeks: The practice schedule will be the same with one less individual training session.
